Drawstring Pant Sizing

The only two measurements you really need are your hip and outseam measurements.  See illustration below:

So if the largest area around my butt measured 40", then I would want a size XL, because the pants have to pull over my butt.  You want to add an inch or two to your hip measurement for comfort.

The outseam is just an overall length of your pants, not to be confused with inseam (which is just from the crotch down).
